Features: it has a stretched and oval shaped head, medium compact, medium-sized. The outer leaves are deep violet colored with light green shades ending with a short thorn. Bitter taste, rich in fiber, contains sugars, minerals, and a good percentage of vitamins (especially group A).

Features: it has a big head, globular in shape, deep violet color with greenish iridescence when ripe, compact, with thick, fleshy bracts; has a high content of fiber, organic acids (tannins) and iron.
